Privacy Policy

VerseMark Bible helps users read, track, favorite, share, discuss, and take notes on Bible passages. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can contact us.

VerseMark Bible and VerseMark Catholic Bible are operated by Hai Duc Consulting LLC.

Information We Collect

If you create an account, we may store your email address, display name, username, profile details, reading progress, favorites, notes, reminder settings, community posts, comments, reports, blocks, and account settings.

How We Use Information

We use this information to provide the app experience, sync your reading progress, show favorites and notes, support community features, respond to support requests, and protect the service.

Reading Data, Favorites, and Notes

Reading progress, notes, favorites, and reminder settings are used for your account experience. Notes and reading progress are private to your account unless you choose to share related content through your device share sheet or community features.

App Variants

VerseMark Bible and VerseMark Catholic Bible are separate apps that may use the same VerseMark support site and account infrastructure. Signing in allows supported data to sync for the app you are using.

Community Content

Community posts and comments may be visible to other users. Reports and blocks are used to hide content from your feed, review abuse concerns, and protect the service.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, VerseMark may send local or push notifications related to your reading habit. You can change notification permissions in iOS Settings and update reminder settings in the app.

Third-Party Services

VerseMark uses Supabase for authentication, database, and server-side functions. Apple may process information related to TestFlight, App Store downloads, crash reports, and device-level analytics according to Apple's own policies. We do not sell personal information.

Bible Text

Bible text rights and translation notes are explained on Bible Text & Sources.

Data Retention

We keep account information and saved app data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the app.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account from the Profile screen in the app. Account deletion removes your profile and associated saved app data, including reading progress, favorites, notes, posts, comments, reports, and blocks. See Account Deletion for the deletion steps.

Children

VerseMark is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
